Destination St. John’s and STEP St. John’s hosted representatives from the World Traditional Karate Federation who are looking at potential hosts for the 2018 World Championships. While in St. John’s, WTKF President W.J. Kwiecinski (Warsaw, Poland) and North American VP Michael Tabassi (Washington, D.C.) viewed various competition and training venues, potential hotel accommodations and met with newly elected City of St. John’s Mayor Danny Breen.
